On September 28, 2016, the United States House of Representatives and the Senate approved the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act that will allow certain 9/11 survivors and family members and individuals who have suffered with illnesses due to their exposure to the toxins in the air, to sue foreign states for acts of international terrorism.

We are exploring whether you can be included in the lawsuit in federal court against Saudi Arabia and others. We are closely following this issue and the circumstances are changing daily. As you know we are well versed in all matters relating to the World Trade Center events, having served as lead counsel in Federal Court before Judge Hellerstein in the World Trade Center litigation for the past twelve years. We have successfully settled that case. As well, we continue to represent a significant number of individuals before the federal Victim Compensation Fund. To date, we have recovered over $100 million dollars for our World Trade Center clients. We will communicate with you shortly as to our recommendations as to how we will proceed on your behalf.
