The Judiciary Committee of the House of Representative voted unanimously in favor of the legislation to extend the World Trade Center Victim Compensation Fund. The next step is a vote before the full House of Representatives and if successful, then on to the Senate for a vote and to the President for signature. While there is no certainty to the ultimate outcome, finally, there is momentum in the right direction.
